Dr. Lydia Gan is a Professor of Economics and Research Coordinator at the Thomas College of Business and Economics, University of North Carolina at Pembroke. With over 34 years of higher education experience, she specializes in medical tourism, consumer behavior, and internet pricing strategies. She co-authored Principles of Economics (2009), an influential textbook in Asian markets. Her research explores medical tourism demand, cost comparisons across regions, and strategic partnerships in healthcare sectors.
