Lura Cooper

Lura Cooper is a Lecturer in Mathematics at the University of Arkansas at Monticello (UAM), where she has been teaching since graduating with a BS in Mathematics (minor in Chemistry and Education) in 1998. She earned her Masters in Education in 2007 and continues to pursue advanced mathematics courses at UAM and UALR.

Research Interests: Ms. Cooper focuses on Mathematics Education, particularly emphasizing the foundational role of Calculus in understanding broader mathematical concepts. Her teaching philosophy aligns with lifelong learning and enhancing students' comprehension through core mathematical principles.
