Luna Al-Hadidi

Luna Al-Hadidi is a Researcher at the Jordan-based National Center for Agricultural Research and Extension, specifically within the Directorate of Water, Soil and Environment Research. She holds a Ph.D. (2009) and a B.Sc. (1991) in Soil and Irrigation from the University of Jordan.

Dr. Al-Hadidi specializes in treatment and reuse of wastewater and irrigation management, with a focus on sustainable agricultural practices in arid regions. Her work includes projects funded by JICA and MERC-USAID, such as using membrane biotechnology (UF+RO) for wastewater treatment in Ramtha and Mubes, and integrated wastewater reuse in eastern Zarqa. She leads soil and irrigation teams for key initiatives like "Reuse of treated wastewater on the production of rapeseed as biodiesel."
