Luke Rice

Luke Rice is Professor in the Department of Biochemistry at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He holds a BA in Physics and American Studies from Yale University and a PhD in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry from Yale.

Research investigates microtubule dynamics through integrated structural, biochemical, and computational approaches. The lab studies molecular mechanisms connecting tubulin biochemistry to emergent cellular behaviors across temporal and spatial scales.

Publications focus on microtubule polymerization mechanisms, structural characterization of tubulin conformations, and regulatory factors influencing cytoskeletal dynamics.
