Lukas Fort is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Anthropology at the University of Copenhagen, Faculty of Social Sciences, where he has been working since January 2024. His research bridges cultural anthropology with environmental and digital studies, focusing on sustainability transitions in Southeast Asia.
Research Interests: Lukas Fort's work centers on the anthropology of waste, infrastructure, and digital media, with a strong emphasis on the circular economy and environmental justice. Drawing from ethnography and post-structuralist philosophy, he investigates how policies, social movements, and sociotechnical designs reshape waste management in Indonesia and the broader region.
