Lukas Exl is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Vienna and a Research Director at the Wolfgang Pauli Institute (WPI), where he leads the Mathematical AI/ML Research Division. He holds a habilitation (venia docendi) in Computational Science from the University of Vienna, the first in this interdisciplinary field.
