Luiza Pańczyk

Luiza Pańczyk is a Lecturer at the Department of Applied Mathematics, Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science, Maria Curie-Skłodowska University (UMCS) in Lublin. She holds a PhD and specializes in mathematical statistics, with a focus on nonparametric methods and small-sample analysis.

Her research interests include:

• Bias quantification
• Sharp bounds in statistical estimation
• Order statistics
• Nonparametric statistics
• Probability theory

Dr Pańczyk teaches courses in measure theory, financial mathematics, logic, programming, and probability theory across multiple degree programs, including Mathematics in Finance and Teacher Training in Mathematics and Computer Science. She maintains open office hours for student consultations on Mondays (10:00-12:00) and Thursdays (11:30-13:30) at room 903, Building C, UMCS campus.
