Prof. Dr. Luise Blank is a faculty member at the Department of Mathematics, University of Regensburg, within the Faculty of Mathematics. She holds the academic rank of Professor. Her research focuses on numerical optimization with partial differential equations (PDEs), optimal control, iterative solvers for linear systems, and preconditioning techniques using wavelets and Schur complement methods. She is involved in the DFG-Graduiertenkolleg 2339 (GRK 2339) on Interfaces, Complex Structures, and Singular Limits since 2018.
