Luisa Röhrich is a Researcher at the Center for Dutch Studies (Zentrum für Niederlande-Studien) at the University of Münster. She holds a Master of Arts (MA) in Dutch Studies and Historical Practice from the University of Duisburg-Essen. Her research focuses on memory culture and cultural studies, particularly in the Dutch-German border region. She coordinates events and exhibitions at the Center and teaches in the BA and binational MA programs, including seminars on Cultural Policy, Technical Language, and Cultural Studies Perspectives.
- PhD Topic: 'Sites of Memory in the Dutch-German Border Region. From Mourning Site to Learning Site?'
- Teaching: Supervision of BA/MA theses; co-teaching Technical Language seminars.
Her academic background includes studies in Dutch Studies and History, with a BA and MA from the University of Duisburg-Essen. She previously worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Lower Rhine Cultural History and Regional Development (InKuR).
Research interests emphasize transnational memory cultures, cultural transfer, and interdisciplinary approaches to border region studies.
