Luigi Lorenzetti

Luigi Lorenzetti is a full Professor at the Academy of Architecture, University of Italian Switzerland. He coordinates the Alpine History Laboratory (LabiSAlp) and has held academic roles including visiting professor at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales in Paris and teaching positions at the Universities of Fribourg and Grenoble.

• PhD in Economics and Social Sciences from the University of Geneva

His research focuses on:

• Family history
• Historical demography and population dynamics
• Migrations and territorial regulations
• Economic and social history of the Alpine region
• Collective property systems and land use
