Ludwig Maximilian Strötz

Ludwig Maximilian Strötz is a Researcher at the University of Helsinki, affiliated with the Faculty of Biological and Environmental Sciences. His research focuses on Environmental Science, particularly Arctic Ecology and Limnology, examining the impacts of Climate Change on aquatic ecosystems.

He is actively participating in the Academy Project "Browning lakes in the greening Arctic" (2023–2027), funded by the Research Council of Finland. This interdisciplinary research investigates the browning phenomena in Arctic lakes and their ecological implications amidst global environmental shifts, in collaboration with scientists such as J. Weckström, M. Heikkilä, and K. Weckström.
