Ludwig Hilmer

Ludwig Hilmer is a Professor at the Faculty of Media at Mittweida University of Applied Sciences. He served as founding dean of the Faculty of Media and rector of the university from 2012 to 2023. His work spans media science, political science, history, and journalism.

Research Focus: Digital transformation, European studies, sports science, gifted education, and decentralized/international education models. He has held leadership roles in academic institutions, including chairing the Board of Trustees of Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences and advising at Babes-Bolyai University's Doctoral School.
