Ludger Hiepel is an Academic Councillor at the Institute for Biblical Exegesis and Theology, University of Münster, focusing on Old Testament studies with a specialization in Digital Humanities and Ancient Near Eastern Philology. He has taught courses on topics like Antisemitism in History and Present and AI in Theology, and co-edited volumes on subjects including Wüste als locus theologicus and Jewish Life in Münster.

Research Interests combine Biblical Exegesis with Digital Humanities, Jewish-Christian Dialogue, and Antisemitism Studies.
