Lucy Reading

Associate Professor Lucy Reading is an environmental scientist at Queensland University of Technology (QUT), specializing in groundwater systems and environmental hydrology. She holds a PhD from the University of Queensland and a Bachelor of Applied Science from QUT. Her research focuses on groundwater modeling, soil chemistry, and the environmental impacts of coal seam gas and agriculture.

Research Interests: Her work addresses groundwater management, solute transport dynamics, and the interactions between chemical and hydraulic properties of soils. • Chief investigator on projects like 'Groundwater Pathways for Nutrient Transport to the Great Barrier Reef'
