Lucy Nolan

Lucy Nolan is Professor of Viola at the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM), where she teaches viola and chamber music while maintaining an active performance career. She co-founded the Eblana String Trio (2006) with violinist Jonathan Martindale and cellist Peggy Nolan, performing extensively at venues like the Wigmore Hall and Bridgewater Hall, with broadcasts on RTE Lyric FM and BBC Radio 3.

Lucy performs regularly with orchestras worldwide and participates in major festivals like the BBC Proms. She co-founded the Eblana String Trio and is a member of Amika quartet, which explores contemporary and crossover music in venues ranging from London's O2 Arena to Ronnie Scott's jazz club.
