Dr. Lucy James is a Lecturer in Psychology at Keele University specializing in developmental psychology and humor studies. Her research examines humor styles in educational contexts.
She developed the Humor Styles Questionnaire for Younger Children and studies how humor affects psychosocial adjustment. Current work explores university student experiences and transitions.
She teaches developmental psychology modules and serves as Deputy Undergraduate Programme Director.
