معرفی
Lucy Fortson is a Professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Minnesota. She is a leading member of the Very Energetic Radiation Imaging Telescope Array System (VERITAS) and the Cherenkov Telescope Array (CTA) for gamma-ray astrophysics research. As co-founder of Zooniverse and Chair of the Citizen Science Alliance, she leverages citizen science for large-scale data analysis in fields ranging from galaxy classification to wildlife conservation. Her work intersects astrophysics with interdisciplinary collaboration.
Research Interests:
- High-energy astrophysics of active galactic nuclei
- Gamma-ray emission mechanisms
