Lucrezia Reichlin is a Professor of Economics at London Business School, an external fellow at Bruegel, and a distinguished fellow at CEPR. She serves as Chair of the scientific council of Groupe des Écoles Nationales d'Économie et Statistique (GENES) in Paris and Chair of the Fellows of the IFRS.
Her research focuses on applied macroeconomics and econometrics, particularly in the areas of business cycles, monetary policy, and time series analysis. Professor Reichlin has pioneered methods for forecasting with large datasets and for now-casting, making significant contributions to how economists monitor economic activity in real time.
Her recent publications demonstrate a strong focus on inflation dynamics, monetary policy frameworks, and European economic integration. The research shows evolving interests from traditional business cycle analysis toward contemporary challenges like climate change economics and the implications of relative price changes for central banking.
