Lucinda Platt

Lucinda Platt is Professor of Social Policy and Sociology at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), where she researches and teaches on topics including ethnicity, migration, disability, child poverty, and social inequalities. She specializes in analyzing and developing large-scale longitudinal datasets, notably serving as co-investigator on Understanding Society (UK Household Longitudinal Study) since 2007 and former Director of the Millennium Cohort Study (2011-2013). Her affiliations include Visiting Professor at UCL, Research Associate at the University of Essex, and Fellow of the Centre for Research and Analysis of Migration (CReAM).
