Lucie Crespo Stupková

Lucie Crespo Stupková is a Professor and researcher at the Rural Studies Center (Centro de Estudios Rurales) of El Colegio de Michoacán, A.C., Mexico. Her primary research focuses on environment and agro-food systems, with a special emphasis on local and regional biocultural heritage. She leads the Observatory of Agriculture and Environment of Western Mexico (founded 2018), which monitors agro-environmental dynamics in the region. Dr. Crespo Stupková holds a PhD in Agricultural Economics from the Czech University of Agriculture in Prague. She actively participates in academic discussions on industrial heritage conservation, particularly in Latin America, contributing to sessions analyzing post-COVID-19 strategies for heritage preservation and reuse.
