Lucia Borriello, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Cancer and Cellular Biology at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine, Temple University. Her research focuses on understanding how the tumor microenvironment regulates tumor dormancy and metastasis, with a particular emphasis on breast and lung cancers. She leads the Borriello Lab, which employs advanced imaging techniques and in vivo models to identify therapeutic strategies against dormant tumor cells.
