Based in Holton, Kansas, he implements educational farm business management programs for commercial farms across the region.
His work centers on Agricultural Economics and Farm Management, with specialized expertise in Agricultural Finance and Production Economics. Sudbeck develops financial and production datasets enabling comparative economic analysis that directly informs farm-level decision-making while simultaneously supporting university research, agricultural policy development, and academic teaching initiatives.
As part of the Kansas Farm Management Association (KFMA) network, Sudbeck collaborates with 22 economists across the state including Albertini, Althauser, Bryant, Conover, Dikeman, Feldkamp, Grinstead, Hargrave, Herbel, James, Klenke, Kohman, Lee, Liebsch, Lindstrom, Meisenheimer, Mitzner, Mushrush, Plummer, Poston, Rapp, Seaton, Simons, Stromgren, and Wood to deliver standardized economic benchmarking services to agricultural producers.
