Lucas Hamel is a Researcher affiliated with the University of Siegen's Faculty of Social Sciences, specifically within the Department of Sociology of Health and Health Systems under Prof. Dr. Claus Wendt. He serves as a research associate in the MEPYSO project (Medicalization and Psychologization of Social Problems), funded by the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs (BMAS), focusing on early childhood developmental disorders and labor market implications of medicalization. Since 2019, he has also been a doctoral candidate at his department.
