Lucas Böttcher is an Assistant Professor of Computational Science at the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management. He holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics and Computational Physics from ETH Zürich (2018), and has held academic appointments at ETH Zürich (Lecturer), UCLA (Research Scientist and Swiss National Fund Fellow), and a courtesy professorship at the University of Florida since 2023.
