Luca Lusvarghi is an Associate Professor at the Department of Engineering 'Enzo Ferrari', University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. His research focuses on materials science, surface engineering, and thermal spray technologies. He teaches courses such as Instrumental Characterization of Materials, Surface and Covering Engineering, and Science and Technology of Plastic Materials at the Materials Engineering program.
His research interests include advanced coatings (e.g., WC-CoCr, NbC-based, HEA thin films), tribology, additive manufacturing, and high-temperature materials.
