Luca Buzzatti

Luca Buzzatti is a Senior Lecturer in Physiotherapy at the School of Allied Health and Social Care, Anglia Ruskin University. He holds qualifications including a PhD in Rehabilitation Science and Physiotherapy from Vrije Universiteit Brussel, a BSc in Physiotherapy from Universitá Politecnica delle Marche, and a PG Dip in Rehabilitation of Musculoskeletal Disorders from Genova University.

His research focuses on dynamic computed tomography (4DCT) for musculoskeletal pathologies, knee kinematics in patellofemoral pain syndrome and ACL reconstruction, and evidence-based physiotherapy through systematic reviews. He collaborates with the University of Oxford on femoroacetabular impingement studies.

Recent publications include applications of 4DCT in joint kinematics, systematic reviews on manual therapy efficacy, and biomechanical analyses of spinal and lower limb pathologies. His work integrates imaging processing, kinematic modeling, and clinical validation.
