معرفی
Luca Bortolussi is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the Department of Mathematics, Computer Science and Geosciences, University of Trieste, Italy (since 2007). He held a temporary Professor position at Saarland University (June 2014 to May 2015). He is an Honorary Fellow at the School of Informatics, University of Edinburgh, and an Associate Researcher at ISTI-CNR in Pisa. His research focuses on Modeling and Simulation, with expertise in theoretical computer science, stochastic systems, and formal methods.
Education:
- Bachelor's in Mathematics, University of Trieste (2003)
- PhD in Computer Science, University of Udine (2007)
Research Interests: Bortolussi’s work bridges formal methods and stochastic modeling, addressing challenges in system verification and analysis. His group develops tools for simulating complex systems, with applications in computer science and beyond.
Affiliations: In addition to his primary role, he maintains ties with institutions like the University of Edinburgh and ISTI-CNR, fostering collaborations in computational theory and applied research.
