Luana Benetti

Luana Benetti serves as a Research Engineer at the International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory (INL), actively contributing to the Spintronics group under the R. Ferreira Research Group since October 2022. Her expertise centers on optimizing nanofabrication processes for high-reliability spintronic nano-devices within the spin dynamics research framework.

Her academic foundation includes a PhD in Physics from Brazil's Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), earned in 2016 through collaborative work with INL under the CAPES-INL project. This doctoral research specialized in nanoscillators based on magnetic tunnel junctions using TiW hard masks lithography.

Benetti's research spans Spintronics and Nanofabrication, with deep specialization in magnetic tunnel junctions (MTJs), nanopillar optimization, and thin-film structural characterization via XRD/TEM. Her work extends to spin injection/detection in semiconductor substrates and graphene, driving innovations in nanoelectronic device reliability.
