Dr. Lu Zhang is a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at Swansea University. She holds a BEng in Electronic and Information Engineering from Xidian University (2016), an MSc in Mobile Communications from Loughborough University (2018, with distinction), and a PhD in Computer Science from Loughborough University (2022). Her research focuses on deep learning, adversarial learning, and their applications in wireless communications, cybersecurity (threat modeling, intrusion detection), and image processing (SAR/medical imaging). She previously served as a Research Fellow in Cyber Systems Engineering at the University of Warwick (2022–2023).
Teaching interests include Artificial Intelligence, Signal Processing, and Image Processing modules. Current modules taught: Year Abroad (Computer Science) and Big Data and Machine Learning. Available for postgraduate supervision.
