Research Interests
Lovise’s work centers on norm-forming practices and hegemonic structures, with emphasis on privilege ("firstness") reproduction in academia. Her research explores post-structural methodologies, activist strategies for social/political change, and implications of studying "at home." She contributes to the Shifting Grounds research network promoting norm criticism frameworks across disciplines.
Publications Trends
Recent publications span norm criticism, institutional sustainability, and climate activism. The 2025 MIUN Sustainability Survey Report addresses environmental practices, while the 2022 Activism: An anthology co-edited with Lööv and Sjöstedt Landén examines collective strategies for change. Earlier works (2020, 2015) analyze "firstness" as a structural privilege mechanism.
Collaborative Networks
Member of the Nordic Shifting Grounds research network advancing norm criticism in academia. Co-edited the 2022 Activism anthology with researchers from Mid Sweden University and partner institutions.
