Louise Winteringham

Louise Winteringham is a Research Fellow at the University of Western Australia (UWA) Medical School and the UWA Centre for Medical Research (affiliated with the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research). She leads the Translational Cancer Research Program, focusing on immunology, haematology, and molecular/cellular mechanisms of cancer, particularly haematological cancers.

Education:

• MSc in Clinical Immunology from Royal Perth Hospital
• PhD under Professor Peter Klinken at WAIMR

Research Interests: Her work centers on identifying novel cancer genes, developing pre-clinical models for precision oncology, and translating laboratory discoveries into clinical treatments. She collaborates extensively with pathologists and surgeons to accelerate therapeutic development.
