Louise Overbeek is a Full-time Lecturer in the Department of Accounting at HEC Montréal. She holds an MBA in Finance from HEC Montréal and a Baccalauréat en sciences comptables (Accounting Sciences) from Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM), as well as a CPA designation. Her teaching focuses on professional accounting integration, taxation, financial integrity, and professional competencies. Courses include Cours d'intégration en comptabilité professionnelle, Comptabilité et fiscalité, and Information financière : intégrité et conformité.
Recent supervision activities (2023–2025) include course leadership in taxation, accounting standards, and professional preparation, such as Préparation à l'Évaluation finale commune.
