Louis-Philippe Beland is an Associate Professor of Economics at Carleton University, Canada, within the Department of Economics under the Faculty of Public and Global Affairs. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Montréal and previously taught at Louisiana State University. His research focuses on applied microeconomics, public, health, and labour economics, with notable contributions on topics such as opioid use impacts, pandemic consequences, and traffic policies.
