Louis Fishman is an Associate Professor of History at Brooklyn College, CUNY, specializing in Middle Eastern history, Jewish-Muslim relations, and modern Turkish politics. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Chicago and teaches courses on the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and modern Middle Eastern history.
His research examines nationalism and identity formation in late Ottoman Palestine and contemporary Turkish politics.
