Louellyn White, a Mohawk scholar from Akwesasne, serves as Associate Professor in the First Peoples Studies department at Concordia University's School of Community and Public Affairs. Her work focuses on Indigenous identity formation, language revitalization, and the lasting impacts of colonial education systems.

Research interests include:
- Indigenous identity and cultural resurgence
- Boarding school historical trauma and contemporary ideologies

She founded the Carlisle Indian School Farmhouse Coalition to preserve historical sites and develop a Heritage Center. Her notable publications include the 2015 book Free to be Mohawk and multiple chapters addressing assimilation policies. Awards include a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Illinois.
