Lotta Gränse

Lotta Gränse is a Clinical Associate Professor (Docent) and Senior Consultant (Överläkare) in Ophthalmology at Lund University's Faculty of Medicine, Department of Ophthalmology. She serves as Project Manager for the Retinopathy of Prematurity Research project and conducts clinical research on inherited retinal degeneration in families, with affiliations at Lund University Hospital.

Her research centers on pediatric ophthalmology with intense focus on Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP), spanning clinical trial design for novel interventions like dexamethasone eye drops, national epidemiological analyses of ROP treatment patterns in Sweden, and investigations into genetic eye disorders such as tuberous sclerosis complex.
