Loris Antonio Servillo

Loris Antonio Servillo is a Full Professor in the Interuniversity Department of Territorial Sciences, Planning and Policies (DIST) at the Polytechnic University of Turin, where he also serves as Coordinator of the FULL Interdepartmental Center - Future Urban Legacy Lab. He is actively involved in teaching, research, and PhD supervision across urban and regional development, spatial planning, and territorial governance. His academic work is deeply embedded in European and national policy frameworks, particularly in cohesion, sustainability, and strategic planning.

Advising and Grants: He supervises multiple PhD students in Urban and Regional Development and Civil and Environmental Engineering. He leads or co-leads numerous funded research projects, including LINUS (student housing), ToMove (Living Lab), SMARTDEST (PNRR), and various ESPON and commercial contracts on territorial governance, strategic planning, and cross-border cooperation. He has served as Scientific Director or Manager on over 15 research initiatives, often in collaboration with public administrations and international institutions.

Labs and Teams: He is the Coordinator of the Future Urban Legacy Lab (FULL), an interdepartmental research center focused on urban innovation, sustainability, and legacy planning. He is also involved in the Zeta Lab and TOWN spin-off initiatives, emphasizing participatory and applied research in territorial development.
