Lori J. Daggar is an Associate Professor of History and Coordinator of Native American and Indigenous Studies at Ursinus College. Her work bridges Indigenous histories with the development of American imperialism and racial capitalism in the 18th and early 19th centuries.

- Early North American history through Indigenous perspectives
- The intersection of missionary work, capitalism, and U.S. empire-building
- Indigenous survivance and resistance during the Age of Revolutions
- Philanthropy's role in colonial violence and economic development
- Religious dynamics in Indian Country
Lori’s publications reveal trends in colonial Indigenous relations, missionary economies, and Atlantic World historiography. She has received prestigious awards including the Mellon Periclean Faculty Leader Grant and NEH Summer Stipend. Her scholarship appears in leading journals like the Journal of the Early Republic, and she contributes to book reviews in Early American Literature and Reviews in American History.
As faculty director of the Justice and Community Collective and co-founder of the Welcome Home Project, she collaborates with the Delaware Tribe of Indians and Perkiomen Valley School District to foster Indigenous reconnection with ancestral lands.
