Loretta Violante

Loretta Violante serves as a Lecturer of Printmaking in the Printmaking department at the School of Art+Design, Purchase College, State University of New York, where she actively contributes to the academic program while maintaining a professional studio practice in New York City.

Her educational foundation includes a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) from The City College of New York, CUNY.

Violante's artistic research centers on interdisciplinary explorations at the convergence of printmaking, sculptural forms, and spatial installation. Her practice has been developed through significant residencies at Guttenberg Arts (New Jersey), Monson Arts (Maine), Brashnar Creative Collective (Skopje, Macedonia), and Manhattan Graphics Center (Gowanus, Brooklyn), resulting in exhibitions at prominent contemporary venues including Marc Straus Gallery, Below Grand, and Essex Flowers that demonstrate her engagement with material experimentation and conceptual frameworks in visual arts.
