معرفی
Lorenzo Mazzieri is a Full Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Trento. His research focuses on Geometric Analysis, Riemannian Geometry, Partial Differential Equations, and applications to Mathematical Relativity. He has organized numerous international conferences and serves as an invited speaker at workshops such as the 'Workshop on Optimal Transport and Metric Geometry' in 2025 and the 'PRIN School on Geometry and Gravity' in 2025.
His research interests emphasize geometric inequalities, geometric flows, and the interplay between differential equations and curvature properties. Recent work includes studies on the Riemannian Penrose Inequality, Minkowski Inequality, and geometric aspects of p-capacitary potentials. He collaborates with leading researchers like V. Agostiniani, G. Catino, and M. Fogagnolo, contributing to high-impact journals such as Inventiones Mathematicae and Communications in Mathematical Physics.
His publications highlight advancements in understanding mass in general relativity through potential theory, isoperimetric problems in curved geometries, and monotonicity formulas in static metrics. He actively participates in academic activities, including organizing seminars and conferences on geometric analysis and differential equations, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration.
