Lorenzo M. Boyd

Dr. Lorenzo M. Boyd is the Stewart Professor in Criminal Justice and Community Policing at the University of New Haven. A nationally recognized expert in police-community relations and criminal justice reform, his research examines urban policing, racial disparities, and diversity issues within justice systems.

He is a former president of the Academy of Criminal Justice Science and maintains active membership in the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE).
