Lorenzo García Aretio is a Professor in the Department of Educational Theory and Social Pedagogy at the National University of Distance Education (UNED) in Spain. He is a leading scholar in distance education, educational technology, and the sociocultural dimensions of learning. His work spans over four decades, producing influential research on distance learning models, MOOCs, educational policy, and technological integration in education.
