Lorene P Cobb serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at Seton Hall University's School of Health and Medical Sciences, where she holds Board Certification as a Pediatric Clinical Specialist. Her academic leadership includes roles as Interim Assistant Chairperson of the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program and membership on the Faculty Advisory Board for the Center for Interprofessional Education.
Her research centers on interprofessional education and practice, innovative teaching methodologies using virtual reality to develop critical thinking skills, and movement systems/motor control principles across the lifespan. Dr. Cobb actively integrates these interests into curriculum development for courses including Movement Development Across the Lifespan and Clinical Diagnosis Management of Neurological Conditions.

Dr. Cobb advises physical therapy doctoral students and serves on dissertation committees for interprofessional Ph.D. candidates in Health Sciences. Her professional service spans state-level work with the New Jersey Department of Education Advisory Council on telehealth guidelines and national leadership as Co-Chair of the American Physical Therapy Association's Movement System Committee. She also contributes to diversity initiatives as a charter member of the SHU Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Task Force.
