Lorena Arnal is a Lecturer in the Department of Psychology at the University of Limerick. Her research focuses on visual narratives comprehension, eye-tracking methodologies, and innovative teaching approaches like Game-Based Learning (GBL), Gamification, and transmedia narratives. She holds a PhD in Cognitive Psychology from the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM) with a Cum Laude distinction, and has held postdoctoral positions at institutions including Nottingham Trent University (UK) and Leiden University (Netherlands).
