Lora Simeonova

Lora Simeonova is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Press Journalism and Book Publishing within the Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski". She holds a PhD in Online Journalism, a Master's in Public Communication, and a Bachelor's in Journalism from the same faculty. Her academic and professional focus spans digital communications, print and online media, and book publishing.

She mentors students in educational editing and digital journalism, co-developing student-led media projects like Z Generation and Z-Media Academy. Her career includes a decade-long role as a reporter, editor, and department head at the newspaper "Standart" (2005-2019), blending practical journalism experience with academic instruction.

Her research explores the intersection of media theory and digital practice, emphasizing trends in online journalism and the role of book publishing in modern communication. She actively engages in teaching and supervising student projects, contributing to the academic and professional development of media practitioners.
