Lonnie Hannon

Dr. Lonnie Hannon is an Associate Professor at the Department of Health Behavior, UAB School of Public Health. His research focuses on legacy-based housing policy, community empowerment, and social determinants of health, particularly their impact on cardiovascular disease and racial disparities. He has secured over $1M in grants from NIH, CDC, and AHA for studies on hypertension, neighborhood revitalization, and community-engaged interventions.
