Lomax Boyd is an Assistant Research Professor at the Johns Hopkins Berman Institute of Bioethics and a Civic Science Fellow. His work focuses on the ethical and scientific implications of emerging brain models such as organoids, chimeras, and genetically engineered organisms. He holds a PhD in Genetics and Genomics from Duke University and completed postdoctoral training in neurogenetics at The Rockefeller University.
