Lolita Alfred is Senior Lecturer and Practice Education Lead for Mental Health Nursing at City, University of London. With NMC registration in mental health nursing and a teaching qualification, she leads admissions for mental health programs and coordinates clinical placements.
Her research examines alcohol use, public health interventions, and emotional wellbeing in clinical contexts. Alfred employs qualitative methodologies to investigate healthcare delivery systems and patient experiences.
Honors include:
- 2023 Enhancement of Student Experience Award
- 2022 Literati Award for peer review excellence
- 2019 Best Supervisor nomination at University of Hull
She currently leads the cross-field BSc Integrated Approaches to Care module and supervises postgraduate research projects.
