Lola Lozano

Lola Lozano serves as a Design Fellow in Year 3, Studio 4 at the Department of Architecture, University of Cambridge. She is also the director of Forms of Living, an architecture design and research platform, and concurrently pursues PhD studies at the Architectural Association.

Her research specializes in the historical evolution of domestic space within Mexico City, spanning from pre-Hispanic eras through post-colonial transformations. This work intersects architectural practice with historical analysis and decolonial theory, as evidenced by her connection to the UNFOLD: Decolonising Architecture at Cambridge initiative.

Lozano extends her teaching beyond Cambridge, instructing architecture courses at multiple UK universities. Her academic profile combines practical design expertise with scholarly research focused on how cultural and historical forces shape domestic spatial arrangements in Mexican urban contexts.
