Max Planck Institute for Sustainable Materialsمعرفی
Dr. Lola Lilensten is a researcher affiliated with Chimie ParisTech and its associated institutions, including Université Paris 13 and CNRS. Her work focuses on the structural and mechanical characterization of complex multicomponent alloys, particularly High Entropy Alloys (HEAs), and integrating chemical design principles from Ti-alloys into HEA frameworks.
- Institution: Chimie ParisTech
- Department: Microstructure Physics and Alloy Design
- Academic Rank: Research Fellow
Lilensten's research explores the microstructural optimization and deformation mechanisms of β-type Ti-rich HEAs. Using advanced multi-scale characterization techniques (SEM/EBSD, TEM, EXAFS), she investigates flow stress partitioning, activation volumes, and work-hardening behaviors. Her studies have demonstrated that non-equiatomic compositions, such as Ti35Zr27.5Hf27.5Nb5Ta5, can achieve superior ductility (20%) and work-hardening through synergistic TWIP/TRIP effects.
Her recent publications highlight the potential of merging HEA design with electronic parameter-based strategies (Bo and Md) to enhance structural stability and mechanical performance. Despite limited data here, her work aligns with cutting-edge advancements in alloy engineering for cryogenic and high-strength applications.
